A capital campaign to support the restoration & growth of faith
The community of Faith is currently thriving. It is in an excellent position to improve the church by addressing important projects that were deferred during periods of greater flux and transition. Parts of the roof are in disrepair, and water leaks are a constant source of potential deterioration. The exterior walls require ongoing preservation that is now overdue. The oil-burning heating system is inefficient, costly, and hard to repair because its technology has become obsolete. And worshipers who use wheelchairs for independent mobility are currently unable to attend Faith in a comfortable or workable way.
The community of Faith has completed a resource assessment with the help of Kairos, an organization which consults with congregations to raise funds for significant projects. The news is good: the members of Faith have the resources and ability to execute these necessary repairs. The restoration and revitalization project, Building Faith, will make the church appealing and accessible and will strengthen and renew its congregation.
